HacBurn-0.3.5

This is the fourth "stable" release of HacBurn. Ripping should work from now on. Also, drive scanning has been completely re-written and now works by correlating "cdrecord -scanbus" output with the user's /etc/(v)fstab. Other minor improvements are everywhere, code cleanup and such.

HacBurn-0.3

This is the third release of HacBurn. The biggest two improvements are the scanning of drives using /proc and warning dialogs if the user attempts something stupid, such as burning without selecting a drive or speed. Other changes include code cleanup and comments. The @music_files interpolation warning is now gone. The options the user specifies are now remembered, not across sessions, but if the user closes the options dialog and then reopens it, the options will still be selected. This didn't work in HacBurn-0.2. Hopefully the next couple releases will work on SCSI bus scanning as well as a more intuitive interface.

HacBurn-0.2

This is the second release of HacBurn. There have been a bunch of changes in the interface as well as the underlying code. HacBurn uses the dmesg output to scan for cd/dvd-rom drives. This is a very quick hackish way of scanning for the drives and will most likely not work unless you have a drive reported as a "CD/DVD-ROM" drive hooked up to the ide bus. As soon as I come up with a better way of scanning drives it'll be implemented. Audio burning as well as one-drive cd copying *should* work. Again, it works on my machine, but I don't have a team of testers, so please, send me bug reports and other feedback.

HacBurn-0.1

This is the first release of HacBurn. It can burn iso and bin images, copy CDs on the fly and make iso images.
You cannot as of yet burn a music CD. However, you can convert mp3 and ogg files into wav files. There is no
specific install procedure, just extract the tarball and run the script.
